Nonso Amadi announces debut album, “When It Blooms”
Nigerian singer Nonso Amadi has announced his debut album, “When It Blooms,” which has been described as “a journey that takes you into his world.”
Nonso Amadi’s upcoming single, “Lock Up,” along with Zinoleesky, will be part of his album, “When It Blooms.” The song was teased on Instagram a few weeks ago.
Describing what the album means to him, Nonso Amadi wrote extensively:
I remember being just a kid in the early 2000s watching my sisters jam to MTV and Channel O in our living room while I was meant to be doing my homework. Looking back now, it was in those nights that the first seeds were planted. Fast forward almost two decades later and here I am releasing my first album ever.
I took two years away from the scene, and during that time, I had a moment to reflect and create music that I connected with on a deeper level. This journey of mine has been full of challenges and triumphs, but it’s all led to this very moment. I’m excited to announce the release of my very first album, “When It Blooms.”
This project is not just a collection of songs, but a journey that takes you into my world. I open up about personal struggles and triumphs, and I want to give you all a chance to get to know me better through my music.
This album has been a long time in the making, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of everyone involved – so thank you all. I feel a mix of emotions as we announce and get ready to share this; both excitement and nervousness but at the end of the day, I hope that you all will feel that same sense of connection when you listen to it.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. I can’t wait to share “When It Blooms” with you all.
