The National Association of DJs, Katsina state branch held an emergency meeting on the issue of banning DJs in Katsina The Katsina Dj’s Association of Nigeria, Katsina state branch, held an emergency meeting on the issue of banning them from DJing in Katsina state. During the meeting, they called on those involved in the matter to get involved in the matter because of the hardship they will go through if they lose their business. Katsina Post learned that they organized the meeting to make the community and the board understand that their DJ is different from what they think, because they took it as a profession and they did not do it. A man who gathers women or any kind of trouble must find a way of life and self-reliance for themselves. The leader of the group, Hassan Mamman, said that they are able to do DJ work and support their families with it, but they still obey every authority, and everything they do they ask for the authority’s permission as per the law. According to him, DJs have contributed a lot in the campaign of the government of Malam Dikko Umaru Raddah in each of the 34 local governments across the state in terms of sound. Finally, he called on the Governor to intervene in the matter.
