Headies Awards 2022: Organizers Announce New Date, Add New Categories
The award ceremony for the Headies Awards, which was supposed to take place at the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta, US, has a new date, according to the organizers. The event, which was originally scheduled for July 2nd, 2022, has been moved to September 4th, 2022, at the same venue in the US. Three additional categories have also been added to the list of awards to be given out at the event, according to the event’s organizers.
The inclusion of these categories was motivated by a desire to foster inclusivity, according to the Headies’ organizers. The Best Inspirational Single, International Artist of the Year, and Digital Artist of the Year are the three new categories.
In an announcement posted on the award’s website, the organizers verified the new date and categories.
