Nicki Minaj Makes History Sets New Rap Record On Spotify
Trinidadian-born rapper, singer, and songwriter Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, popularly known as Nicki Minaj, has sealed her name in history as she becomes the first female rapper to surpass 26 Billion streams.
Her cumulative Spotify streams, according to Chart Data, have topped 26 billion. Since no other female rapper has reached this milestone, Nicki is the only one.
Additionally, fans are hoping that Nicki will finally release her new album in 2022. Queen, her final studio album, was released in August of last year. That later made its US debut at number two. General Nicki’s final challenge began in May 2021. She re-released her 2009 mixtape “Beam Me Up Scotty” because streaming services finally made it available.
Along with that, Nicki added new songs including “Fractions” and “Seeing Inexperienced,” which featured Drake and Lil Wayne.
